Who Can Join?

 

Germania Credit Union was founded in 1986 and initially served the employees and members of Germania Farm Mutual Insurance Association and its wholly owned subsidiaries, as well as members of organizations which belong to Germania Farm Mutual Insurance Association.  In addition to the Germania Family, the credit union presently serves the employees of Washington County Tractor, Brenham Banner Press, TFE Company Incorporated, MIC Group and Tarlton Supply Company.  Membership is also open for spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership as well as relatives of a credit union member.  Relatives include spouses, children, brothers, sisters, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, father-in-laws, mother-in-laws, and cousins.

 

 

How to Join

Determine your eligibility by reading above.  Then email, write, or call and request a Membership Packet.  Membership Packets may also be picked up in person at the credit union office or click on the membership application button, print out application and follow the instructions below.

Instructions:

  1. Click of Membership Application button above, print the application, fill out the form and sign.
  2. Include a check or money order for $30.00 ($25.00 required minimum deposit for membership plus a $5.00 membership fee).
  3. Include a copy of your drivers license and social security card.
  4. Enclose in an envelope and mail to:
